Healthy Breakfast For Healthy Living
What is the meaning of breakfast?
It means “breaking the fast of the night”.
It is very significant to have proper nutritious food in the first break of the morning. And why so??? because there is a huge gap between the last meal (dinner or supper) and first meal (breakfast) of the morning.This means that our stomach remains empty for a long time and breakfast fills in the stomach and thus provides us the necessary energy as food is the main source of energy.
A healthy break-fast replenish the entire system of a human-body and keeps it up for the whole day. So the break-fast should be a good source of all the nutrients which includes vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein to keep a person energize and rejuvenated for all day long.
A health-conscious person never skips or compromises with his or her breakfast & thatswhy there is a saying :
"Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper"
So lets discuss the types of breakfast that will be beneficial for our health.
Here I am sharing some combinations of healthy breakfast, that can be eaten interchangeably:
1. 2 eggs (only the white part), 2 types of fruit (a bowl of chopped water-melon and green grapes), 1 piece or 2 pieces of idle and yogurt.
2. 1 full glass of Protein shake and 2 bananas.
3, 1 bowl of boiled veggies(carrots and beans), Dry fruits (15-20 pieces of sprouts/chickpeas, 5 almonds, 2 walnuts, 2 arrowroot, 2 dates, 1 dried date, 6 raisins, 3 cashews, 4 peanuts) and a small or medium size cucumber).
4. 1 bowl Oatmeal and 1 apple.
5. 1 bowl muesli.
6. Boiled Vegetables ( carrots, beans, tomato, broccoli, beat) and fruits (1 apple, 1 banana, some grapes).
7. 1 bowl of chicken soup mixed with veggies, 1 cucumber and yogurt.
Keep eating healthy foods as "health is wealth".
